TIP OFF PARTY: The web page update has been very slow in coming, so we realize there is not much time regarding the tip off party planned for Thursday evening Dec 10th starting at 6:00 PM at Klondike Kates. This promises to be an exciting evening. Come out and meet the players and coaches. There are some great giveaways including gift certificates, game tickets and $100.00 in cash. Cost is $20.00 per person for a buffet dinner.     

The purpose of this web page is to provide information for club members as well as prospective members. Links are provided to other sites relevant to the basketball programs, along with other sites of interest. Club Background

The club was founded in 1998 with the sole purpose of supporting both the Men's  and Women's basketball programs at the University of Delaware. The Club holds scheduled dinner meetings periodically during the basketball season. At these meetings there is the opportunity to meet players and coaches from both teams, as well as periodic guest speakers. The players and coaches all speak at the meetings

If you are interested in joining the club, the following link will take you a printable membership form that you can use to join the club. Membership is only $25.00 per person. There are many perks this year fir joining, including the following:

Ten dollar gift certificate to National Five and Ten.
Ten dollar gift certificate to Soffritto Italian Grill, Kirkwood Highway.
ten Dollars off the cost of he Basketball banquet at tehe nd of the year.
Laminated membership card with the names of our club sponsers on the back.

Scheduled Club Meetings:

All club meetings this year will be held on Monday nights at Klondike Kates  on Main street in Newark. in conjunction with the radio show hosted by Mike Corey.

The Club program will begin at 6:00 PM with guest speakers, visit with players etc. , continuing as needed after the radio show has ended at 7:30 PM. All food and drink will be ordered from the menu. The first meeting will be on January 4th 2010 and continue through March 8, 2010. 

Parking is available at Municipal lots in Newark and will be validated by Klondike Kate's. Be sure you bring your parking stub with you to the meeting. This is a great time for fellowship, to meet the young men and women who represent our University.  You don't have to be a club member to attend so come out and if you like what you see and hear, please consider joining.

      Scheduled Away Game Trips.

The Club is going to be supporting our teams with two planned trips, as follows:

• UD Women at Drexel on Sunday January 31, 1010 (12:00 Noon).
• UD Men at Drexel. Saturday, February 13, 2010 (12:00 Noon).
• Cost for both games is $25.00 for members, and $35.00 for non members.
• Cost includes round trip transportation from Newark, and ticket to the game.
• Snacks will be provided.
• Deadline is Dec 31, 2009 to sign up.

Drexel is our arch rival, playing in a postage stamp for an arena, so the teams can really use our help. The costs for these trips is a real bargain, so sign up now!!
